HOW I WORK

I hear from those closest to the work. I pay attention to teams, audiences and executives. Often, the core answer is already there, buried beneath too many opinions or disconnected ideas. My job is to recognize it, give it language, and help everyone see the way forward together. Listening helps us arrive at the right idea sooner.

Some creative challenges start with a blank page. Others start with too much: competing ideas, scattered input, and shifting priorities. I uncover the central idea and turn it into a clear direction people can rally around. I’ve connected students with Philadelphia, reimagined classical ballet, and led creative for a nationally recognized education brand. The subject changes. My approach doesn’t.

Great work is never done alone. I’ve built, developed, and mentored multidisciplinary teams. I’ve partnered with agencies, worked alongside executives, developers, writers, marketers, strategists, video teams, and subject-matter experts…and have learned something from all of them.

I lead with a clear point of view, but not a closed one. I want people to bring their own perspective and make the idea stronger. The goal is to create enough clarity and trust that everyone can do their best thinking together.

A strong idea has to survive real deadlines, budgets, shifting priorities, and the many people carrying it forward. That is why I care as much about the systems behind the work as I do about the initial spark.

Brand systems, templates, and workflows can remove friction and make strong creative easier to produce consistently. Better systems leave more room for better thinking. Finding the AHA moment matters. But what we do with it next matters just as much.
